On Site Opera welcomes Merrill Rose to its Board of Directors!
On Site Opera is delighted to announce the addition of Merrill Rose to its Board of Directors. Merrill has been a devoted audience member and patron of On Site Opera for a few years. In 2017, she co-chaired the organization’s Gala Committee, bringing her enthusiasm and fresh ideas to help the organization create a vibrant and successful fundraising event.
“I’m thrilled to support this inventive company attracting new audiences to opera in New York City and beyond,” said Merrill upon joining the Board.
Merrill Rose is a communications consultant who specializes in serving nonprofit organizations. Her clients have included the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center, among others. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Patron’s Leadership Council of Manhattan Theatre Club, and the Board of Advisers of the UNC School of Media and Journalism.
On Site Opera’s Board President, Jane A. Gross, remarked “Merrill’s background working with nonprofit clients, and her past service as an effective nonprofit trustee and committee member, are wonderful benefits to On Site Opera. Her personal enthusiasm for innovative performing arts organizations is a great match for the adventurous spirit of On Site Opera. We are fortunate to have her join our swiftly growing company.”
