Michael A. Ciavaglia
Michael A. Ciavaglia (he/him), DMA, is active in the fields of opera, choral performance, and higher education. In addition to his work with On Site Opera, Michaelhas served on the music staffs of the Asheville Lyric Opera, Cincinnati Opera, the New York Choral Society. He has regularly prepared choruses for the Richard Tucker Music Foundation Gala and performances with superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli. [Delete what was here.]
Michael is the artistic director of the Connecticut Chamber Choir, and has taught and conducted at Mars Hill University and at Northern Kentucky University. Currently, he is director of the music programat Fairfield University in Connecticut, where he teaches music history and voice, and is a regular guest conductor of the Fairfield University Glee Club and Chamber Singers.
He is an alumnus of the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University and of the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
