Raymond Storms
Countertenor Raymond Storms, a graduate of the New England Conservatory in 2007, began studying opera at the New World School of the Arts in Miami under mezzo-soprano Joy Davidson, and currently studies with Neil Semer in New York. Raymond has performed with V.O.I.C.Experience under Sherrill Milnes in Tampa and in New York; the Seattle Academy of Baroque Opera in Seattle; the Neil Semer Vocal Institute in Coesfeld, Germany; and in New York with Drama per Musica, Dell’arte Opera, Underworld Opera, and New York Continuo Collective. He also performs with the Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre Company throughout the U.S. Raymond was honored with the first Crescentini fellowship award and sang with Maestro Benton Hess throughout Italy with Si Parla Si Canta. He was signed to BMI for his “Opera House Song” which he recorded with Grammy Award winner George Mena Keys.
