Gina Hays
Gina Hays (she/her), from McKee, KY, brings 24 years of stage management experience in theatre and opera. Thrilled to return to On Site Opera, she received her bachelor’s degree in theater from Morehead State University in Morehead, KY and her master’s degree with a dual emphasis in stage management and directing from Michigan State University. In a search to expand her knowledge base and advocate for the arts, she spent two years (2018-2019) working with OPERA America on artist programming, gaining invaluable insight and experience through the lens of administration and not-for-profit work in New York. She finds the perfect blend with her training in theater in the world of new work and new productions. As a proud member of AGMA and AEA, her career highlights include companies such as the San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera Philadelphia, Utah Opera, Washington National Opera, and most recently, Atlanta Opera and Wolf Trap Opera.
