Theodora Siegel
A native of Long Island, New York, soprano Theodora Siegel (she/her) is currently earning her Master’s of Music at Mannes School of Music under the instruction of Arthur Levy.
With Mannes Opera, Theodora was featured in the roles of Linfea in Cavalli’s La Calisto and Shadow in Grace McLean’s new musical In the Green. She was a soloist in Mannes Sounds Festival’s world premier of Echoes from the Darkness, a chamber opera by John Califra.
With Opera UCLA, Theodora performed the roles of Susanna from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Proserpine (cover) from Charpentier’s La Descente d’Orphée aux Enfers, as well as parts in the world premiers of Janice Hamer’s Lost Childhood, Mikel Klein’s Akeidah, and Carla Lucero’s Juana. Theodora made her European debut as Echo in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos with the Trentino Music Festival.
Theodora is also a Social Media Creator and Activist through her TikTok and Instagram account @got2gonyc. She has most recently been featured in The New York Times, CNN, and Teen Vogue for her activism.
