This holiday season, On Site Opera invites you to support opera in new ways!

Group of four people reading from sheet music in a rehearsal room

Support Our Community Chorus

The chorus in On Site Opera’s upcoming production of Amahl and the Night Visitors includes an enthusiastic group of singers who have experienced homelessness and now reside at Breaking Ground, NYC’s largest provider of supportive housing. Donate today and your gift will support the stipends for the choristers as well as the modern-dress costumes that they can keep after the show closes.

“For a lot of people participating [in Amahl], this is their one creative validation for their existence. A lot of people in these situations don’t feel seen, and that makes it hard to exist. But singing in a choir felt healing. Art restores human dignity.” – ANNETTE PHUVAN, chorus member

Read more about our choristers’ stories in The Daily Beast and Epoch Times.
